I've got many different things to do today, big and small, so abstract pins with lots of stuff going on are a natural choice. This one is a pretty good representation of my cognitive state, I think: some simple forms, various intricate details, some dangly bits and a general lack of coherence or organization. Self-awareness is both a blessing and a curse.
I can't tell you much about this pin other than it's made of silver and brass. There's no signature. I presume it represents something to the designer, but what could that be? My best guess is that the arc represents the path of the sun over a landscape, and the sun is now setting (on the right). I like the pin regardless, probably because it is so enigmatic.

Not one of my favorites. Too Miami circa 1983... but that may be why you like it. I know you are a Vice fan, and this just may be reminding you of Crocket and Tubs (sp?). HA! C. PS I find the word verification aspect of commenting on your blog a real pain. What's the little wheelchair symbol next to the window?!
Er, it's Tubbs.
The verification thing prevents spammers flooding in - your blog has it too. Dunno about the wheelchair, but would guess it offers tools for people with disabilities.
For some reason, this pin reminds me of a drive-in movie. The silver represents the movie being projected onto a screen (that we cannot see) and the figures are people walking from the concession stand to their car. Hmmmm, I haven't gotten much sleep the past few days, so I don't know if that makes me an extra creative thinker or a nonsensical ditz :)
I see where you're coming from... but I think it's too deep for this blog!
