Les Bon Mots

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

Ant, were you feeling alright when you created this blog entry? Are you wishing you were French? Are the people at Intuit going mad (in herds)? Please inform. A worried friend...

Dear worried friend,

I was feeling fine, just chillin' in San Diego, and deciding to add quotations to my blog every now and then - starting today.

As an Englishman, I naturally have no wish to be French. But "Les Bon Mots" sounds nicer, and more intellectual than "thought for the day" or some other, er, cliche. Pretentious? Moi?

I don't think Intuit people are going mad in herds, I think everyone in America is going mad in herds. All that individualism is being replaced by a quest for safety in numbers...

Yours aye,
Ant
